Draft? We Don't Need No Stinking Draft!

Randolph Morris scored the first point of his NBA career on Wednesday night for the Knicks against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Why is this even remotely interesting?

Morris was the starting center for the Kentucky Wildcats in LAST WEEK's tournament loss to Kansas.

The 6-foot-11, 260-pound Morris originally declared for the 2005 draft but was not taken and did not sign with an agent. He returned to school and played two more seasons and as soon as Kentucky's season ended, Morris immediately became a free agent.

According to the Knicks, Morris is the first player to go from playing in the NCAA tournament to being on an NBA roster in the same week.

And he wasted no time fitting right in with his Knickerbocker teammates, as he clanked 3 out of 4 free throws, finishing the game with 1 pt and 1 rebound in 7 minutes of action.

Cheating off the hot blonde next to him in Art History 101 on Monday. Lacing 'em up at MSG for a cool $20K on Wednesday.

Can't argue with that.
